Alcohol is not a sin it's even allowed in Scripture.
Grieving people are allowed to drink it's actually condoned.
Being a perpetual drunk playing drinking games is not condoned it's called being a drunkard.
Being a drunkard is a sin.

Jesus was simply using the common knowledge of juice bursting skins used for fermenting juice, to prove a point: the new wine represented the followers of Jesus; the new wine skin represented his Covenant; the old wineskin represented the pharisaic traditions; and the alcoholic wine; the Pharisees. He was also linking pharasaic toxicity to the neurotoxicity of alcohol.

Proverbs 31 does not literally mean to give strong drink to him who is grieving; it simply is remarking ‘if a man is grieving, he might as well be drinking strong drink’: ie, his misery might as well be such. It is remarking on the deplority of the condition of grief.
