An liath fail is the Gaelic name for the stone. It means the grey/blue stone.

Etymologicaly it may in fact be Faileas, thus the blue/grey spectral shadow.

In 1296 on the 8th of August, King Edward and his soldiers stole the stone - the pride and symbol of Scotland - from Scone monastry and took it to Westminster where it sat under the coronation seat waiting for the next King or Queen to be coronated as all were except for King Edward VIII and some other king.

Until Christmas day 1950 when four Scottish students from the University of Glasgow (Ian Hamilton, Gavin Vernon, Kay Matheson and Alan Stuart) removed the Stone of Scone from Westminster Abbey in London and took the Stone back to Scotland. The students were members of the Scottish Covenant Association, a group that supported home rule for Scotland. In 2008 the incident was made into a film called Stone of Destiny.

The stone was surrendered four months later. King George died within a year of the recovery of the stone and Queen Elizabeth delayed her coronation till sixteen months after his death, some claim the delay was to cover for a frantic "hunt for the real stone", it was a lengthy time to wait by royal standards.

"At half past two that (Sunday 31st December 1950) Hogmanay they drove the Stone of Destiny across the border and into Scotland. Later that evening they drove into Glasgow, the whole adventure had cost a total of 70 pounds. They had no idea of what to do with their cargo.

"Hamilton phoned Bertie Gray, and while they waited for him outside the King's Theatre in Glasgow, he munched into a fish-supper, sitting on the Stone in the car. 'I had never been in a more bizarre situation'. When Gray arrived he said: 'Drive out towards Stirling. I'VE GOT THE VERY MAN.' (That 'very man' was John Rollo of Rollo Lathe's at Bonnybridge*.").

The stone was hidden in a Lathe making factory -
"John Rollo who agreed to hide the stone on one condition that he,and he alone would know where it was hidden.For the best part of the next 13 weeks it was hidden at St Andrews Works,in a secret compartment under the foreman's office,behind a sliding wooden panel concealed by a huge lathe."

The stone came accross the border on new years night precisely in the middle between Edward becoming king and my birth:

From the day King Edward became king on 20 January 1936 till the day the stone of Scone crossed the border on new years night 1950 is 5459 days.

From the day He abdicated on 11 December (my birthday) 1936 to my birth is 10592 days. Out of the entire bibles 31,102 verses only verse 10592 has the gematria 888.

What is gematria? Its the very ancient system of numbering every letter. It was used in Babylonian times, Hebrew, Greek and hermetic Western traditions. In the bible every verse has a total gematria as well as every letter.

What is significant about the fact that verse 10592 has gematria 888? 888 is the gematria of Christ.
