I have no need to buy 7 tubes at once because I'm already prepped. If I am going to be damned...I am going to be damned for who I really am! |

Lowkey Cyberpunk User ID: 77651099 United States 08/20/2019 09:53 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Saw my first actual sign at a regional supermarket today. It blamed bad weather for short supplies of fresh produce. Made me take a look at the produce section and, while nothing was out, they were certainly spreading what they had to make it look full. Interesting. "Yes, yes. Zathras is used to being beast of burden to other people's needs. Very sad life. Probably have very sad death. But, at least there is symmetry." |

Lowkey Cyberpunk User ID: 77651099 United States 08/22/2019 08:18 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Great Scott! They laid off the workers of a plant that makes cans for canned food? There cannot be very many of those facilities, I wonder how this will affect the supply for groups like the LDS and other preppers who are equipped to put supplies in cans? And, like I said earlier, fresh produce is starting to show strains. I was hoping today to get a picture of the sign at a location further away from my AO but I popped a brake line coming home and will spend tomorrow working on my aging car. I was going to pop into a Kroger's as well and see what the situation was there. Sunday perhaps. Edit: Subaru did something smart, at least with their Gen 2 Legacy/Outback/Forester (they're all the same basic platform.) Instead of running the rear brake line directly to the ABS proportioner in the engine compartment, there's a union block under the rear seat. Just remove two bolts, pull the seat out and use a screwdriver to pop the grommet out. Buy a 3/16 x M10 x 1mm length of brake line (I find myself getting the 60" length to be certain) from Autozone or anyone else and some penetrating oil. You'll get yourself back on the road sooner than you might think. It's a simple fix even if inconvenient. Last Edited by Lowkey Cyberpunk on 08/22/2019 10:30 PM "Yes, yes. Sandman was just wishing me well on my vehicle repair. The brake line that I bought wound up being 3" shy of being long enough. So I took the old brake line, cut an end off, crimped the cut end, flattened the line with a hammer and curled it up. Then I coated it with epoxy putty for some reason. Should act as a plug for as long as I need to go out and get another length of brake line and a union. Just won't have rear brakes. "Yes, yes.
