Considering the percent of food produced in CA the Midwest could stop farming altogether and we'd be fine...countries that net import food might have a bad time, but we'd be fine.

Yeah, food is grown all over the country, way more than domestic consumption uses, these guys just can't find any real doom to worry about so fret over a few barren fields.
