Made it to the discount grocery today, and fortunately they are well-stocked with whatever they have. I didn't think to check if they have any packaged potato products like instant mashed potatoes - and I am fascinated by their lack in all the Walmarts we are hearing about.
What do you people think is the reason for all potato products being purchased?
This grocery has been having great sales on chicken parts - I've repackaged and put away two large pkgs of skinless, boneless chicken breasts, and today bought chicken drumsticks for .99 per lb. $3.88 for seven meals. Should have gotten a second package!
People, keep checking stores and telling us what you find, and what you do not find.

I went to my local ALDI's today, PACKED and canned veggies on sale for 48 cents a can. crazy. ^THIS again, another clue that something 'else' is going on. Is Walmart and a few others supplying food to dumbs and the immigrant tent cities at the border? Canned foods would be the item for both those locations. The 'shortage' is limited to certain grocers.
