Break Barrel 22? Hmm.

I have an old daisy without bb's. I keep thinking I should fix that situation, especially now that I live somewhere where it wouldn't seem much a bother to ANYONE.

I do have a bow and arrows...but, I'm pretty certain I'd miss, despite the critter's habit of standing there motionless, mocking me with his cute little eyes.

Maybe I shouldn't have started talking to him in the first place, because I get the feeling, with his cute little furry raccoon ears, he's hearing "hi there, rocky! Sure you can eat my bird seed" when, in fact, I'm saying: "You just won't quit, will you? Are you challenging me to get some buckshot or poison, to send you into Kingdom Come? Huh?"

Unfortunately, I had to go away for two weeks...only to return to him having broken into my porch screen to have a 14 day field day.

Not satisfied with birdseed, suet, and the array of planters he tore apart -some busted to smithereens- looking for raccoon gold...he actually tore open two packages of fescue lawn fix, just to spite me.

That Break Barrel 22 is piquing my interest at the moment.

Oh, whoa! What to do, what to do?

Okay, at a keyboard and monitor now (Hate sharing things on cellphone, lol) and can add a few more.

I would like to comment on a few of these and confirm from another poster. I deleted the ones that I never tried but confirming the below as a positive YES!



- Vinegar keeps a boiling egg intact. Add a little to water and they won't crack. Makes easier to peel later too
- Kill weeds with boiling water on cracks of walkway. Add salt to it and it works even better

- When parking in a garage, hang a tennis ball on string, where it would just touch the windshield so you know you are both in all the way and not hitting the back wall.
- The parsley that restaurants sometimes provide on your dish at a restaurant isn't just for garnish. It's for getting rid of bad breath when eating something with garlic or onions in it. If on a date, this can save you. Now that you know, you can always request a sprig from the waitress without letting your date know why, lol.
- For paper cuts, use Chapstick or similar lip balm. The wax closes it off to air so it neither stings or keeps splitting open.
- Use a walnut (or pecan) and rub over scratches on wood furniture and they will disappear. Learned this from my great aunt.
- A 6 muffin tin or pan is great for serving condiments in at a BBQ. Saves having to wash 6 individual bowls.
- Mechanic's trick. If don't have a funnel for pouring in oil, use a long screwdriver. The oil being thick, will grab onto and form a stream attached to the screwdriver and go right into the drain, then as it starts flowing and you're lined up with that hole, you can tip in and fill it right up!

South FL.. have one of those myself.

I heat with wood, in the winter. normally only need a few weeks worth of wood. i use mostly Australian pine, acacia and oak.. splits em all without an issue.

I take it to lower cortisol (in order to lower stress), and Phosphorylated Serine works faster than Phosphatidyl serine.

Use something lint-free to apply Maximum strength Off insect repellent to cloudy plastic headlights to clear them up for a month. Generic repellent is fine as long it has 20% DEET if i remember correctly.
