Quoting: Reighna1 could definitely use more of the house cleaning shit that works! im going to try the oven cleaner in the shower today! Castile soap works on almost everything- especially the bathroom. It’s also really good diluted and used on carpet stains. I have used this forever. If I need a bit more strength for tub rings, I'll sprinkle a bit of Borax in there too. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 77537567 United States 07/08/2019 01:06 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This is the best glass/mirror cleaning method I have found. Use a soapy cloth (I use Dawn) and wash the mirror well. Get a spray bottle with 50/50 water and ammonia, spray and wipe with the same cloth as before. Then use a clean dry cloth and wipe until spiffy clean. That's it. Repeat if needed. |

I'm sure the FDA is actively working for measures to make it illegal. Elderberry is not recommended for children. Only over 18 yrs. old. Always read warnings.. Bullshit ... it’s a berry. A food. But to see if your comment had any basis, I did a quick google and found nothing to support your claim. In fact, even the OTC elderberry syrup (Sambucol) has recommended dosages for children. Do YOUR research, and stop spreading disinformation! Let me reiterate ... Elderberry syrup is EXTREMELY effective for flu and pneumonia and is backed by studies. Sometimes I feel like a nut. Sometimes I don't. ***Certified Thread Killah*** |

Asymptote User ID: 76695518 United States 07/08/2019 06:41 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You really are a kindred spirit.. Raccoons wreak havok with my pawpaws, among other things... Break Barrel 22's belong on this list as well. Love mine.. Thank you! (I posted some green before seeing your response.) ______ Break Barrel 22? Hmm. I have an old daisy without bb's. I keep thinking I should fix that situation, especially now that I live somewhere where it wouldn't seem much a bother to ANYONE. I do have a bow and arrows...but, I'm pretty certain I'd miss, despite the critter's habit of standing there motionless, mocking me with his cute little eyes. Maybe I shouldn't have started talking to him in the first place, because I get the feeling, with his cute little furry raccoon ears, he's hearing "hi there, rocky! Sure you can eat my bird seed" when, in fact, I'm saying: "You just won't quit, will you? Are you challenging me to get some buckshot or poison, to send you into Kingdom Come? Huh?" Unfortunately, I had to go away for two weeks...only to return to him having broken into my porch screen to have a 14 day field day. Not satisfied with birdseed, suet, and the array of planters he tore apart -some busted to smithereens- looking for raccoon gold...he actually tore open two packages of fescue lawn fix, just to spite me. That Break Barrel 22 is piquing my interest at the moment. Oh, whoa! What to do, what to do? Ha! . p.s.: pawpaw? In Jamaica those are sweetsops. I thought they were tropical. Hmm. nope, Pawpaw is fine throughout most of the US. Mine ripen from the second week of Sept through the first week of November. Heck I'd deliver a seedling and some fruit to you this fall if you were close. So, you worked with trees.. Interesting. I have a Hovenia dulcis (Japanese raisin tree) in its third year. It had a little die back this year and has twice lost its crown (and given that it is just over 2 feet tall currently, that's a problem. There do not appear to be any insect issues. We have had a ton of rain (50+ days out of last 75)... I just gave it a high N+ fert this morning and hope I can get a couple feet growth on it before winter sets in (I do not fertilize after the first of August. Any ideas? Try drinking a glass of milk for a few days and if the pain goes away, you'll know what the problem was. Same goes for aching bones btw. I like milk best because your body absorbs it much better than calcium supplements I find. |
