I'm saved from getting one drop of rain out of this system. Glad I decided to move to where the sea level is 1500 feet below me. And no, I don't care about those folks in New Orleans. They decided to live in a bowl 20 feet below sea level. They had the choice to live else where where it doesn't flood. My mom and brother and his family live in extreme south Louisiana and I'll tell him this exact same thing. Heck, last time I was down there the water was only two feet from the roads. It's stupid to live in a flood plain.

Lets keep to the facts-- this does not have to turn into a hurricane to be catastrophic for New Orleans. The track of the system-- regardless of the intensity is the most important factor. Wind and storm surge from a stronger storm would only make this even "more" catastrophic if direct hit...
