Odd guy but I was left with the feeling we did indeed go and he saw things he was unwilling to talk about Quoting: diverdan01 Things he can't talk about... like the truth? I asked him what it was like up there. On the moon..he got sort of an quiet and this intense look in his eye..like he was reliving it..and stared at me and replied.."you wouldn't understand if I told you". I would have understood a lie..he was saying he saw way more than he was willing to talk about IMHO..but hey.this is a conspiracy site so think what you will. No skin in the game for me..just some first hand quality time and convo with the 2nd man to set foot on the moon (in my belief). I'm being quite serious..it was quite a moment for me and I remember it like it was yesterday. He was an intense guy..he stared off like a million mile stare..then looked at me and said you wouldn't understand. If you don't want to believe it its cool..Glad I experienced it. |

They simply, can't. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77299565 Like the liberals, socialists, communists, cults, and all brainwashed. They've been indoctrinated to the point they're like zombies. Why do you think they put a globe in each and every first grade classroom? so you are a flat earther? what is the number one video or argument you have to feel that way? I ask because in this upside down world I still cannot think anything is above doubt (sadly) I don't know what the overall shape of this realm is. However, there is no curve. Just a large misunderstanding of perspective and how the human eye creates a horizon. If water curves off like they say it does, You could measure a minute curve in just a fish tank Feel free to prove me wrong |

Only someone who wasn't here to witness the actual events from ground level would be leave that it wasn't true. So ask yourself was I there in Florida to watch the Saturn V launch and all of the news coverage? If your answer is no then it it is possible that you don't believe it. I must say that I feel rather dumb even responding to this idiocy and with that I say goodnight. Quoting: scimitar were you there?? I don't think anyone doubting the official moon landing story denies that rockets can be built and go up... landing on the moon and coming home in 1969 is another matter entirely. You go up there with them and witness the moon? ooops try again with your short circuited bad logic. |

For fun! I'm having a lot of fun! In fact, sometimes these threads are a good refresher about a particular topic. I haven't discussed the moon landings in a while so it's been nice to chat about. I'm always looking for some new claim to debunk but this thread has been the same old, unfortunately. Do you trust politicians? Any politician. Do you have a college degree? Do you think patriotism can lead to biases? Do you realize you're the majority? Do you know you're a sheep? Do you believe that no amount of evidence will ever persuade an idiot? No. No. Yes. And? Baa. Yes. Look at the moontards on this thread who have their claims debunked repeatedly and still don't believe we went to the moon. Willful ignorance? Delusional? Stupid? All of the above. If you don't trust politicians, how can you trust the moon landing and the 9/11 narrative? |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 77134005 United States 07/09/2019 12:43 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | There are a number of thin gs that have not been addressed (here at least) that should cause anyone with reasonable common sense to question the moon landings. A quick aside, you will notice the Van Allen strawman pushed quite a bit, when there are far more compelling questions. First of all, the "simulations". It is entirely reasonable that NASA would simulate moon missions for the benefit of astronauts and public alike, as a precursor and training device for moon missions. What is not reasonable is that they would pretend they had any degree of reality. If the simulations had been shown as "training simulations", with technicians present advising the astronauts, and no attempt to make the simulations appear real, then we would not be having a debate about fake/real footage all derived from the same source. Secondly, and more importantly perhaps, is the use of horizons in the moon footage. Never did any mission ever go to a point of high elevation to photograph a panorama of receding horizon, the horizon is always the top of a hill or crater. Now, if I wentr to the moon I would want to get some great extended landscape photos, not the inside of a crater. In fact, there are some things really worth looking at on the moon, for example Copernicus crater. Had they parked on the edge of that crater, they could have sent back some truly awe inspiring photos of an ancient strip, with ancient monuments at the base. Sadly, everything we have seen is only something that will fit into a good sized movie studio, with horizons that can easily be created by backdrop, front screen projection, which would not depict an extended landscape well enough to fool all these well meaning believers who have been so thoroughly fooled to the point of cognitive dissonance when confronted with scientific and circumstantial evidence. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 77773332 United States 07/09/2019 12:53 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The communication between the LEM and Houston over a distance of 230,000 miles is clear and without delay with 1969 communication technology and today, I lose my phone signal as soon as I step onto an elevator, drive out in the country, walk in the woods, etc., etc. Hmmmm. Quoting: Slash777 There was delay, listen again. It’s about 1/4 of a second. The communication equipment used to talk from the moon to earth is very different than that in your cell phone. 1. They used orders of magnitude higher power than your cell phone 2. They used high gain antennas. 3. They used highly directional antennas, your cell phone is omni-directional. 4. They used analog comms your cell is digital. 5. In an elevator you are (often) shielded from radio transmissions. Look-up faraday cage. 6. Out in the country there simply isn’t cell coverage because the earth is spherical, there wasn’t coverage to the far side of the moon either. Explains it. Now, onward to: BUILDING 7 fell because of the vibrations from the WTC towers falling. Carry on! poor deluded soul or else gov shill |
