Tucker Investigates: How did Chris Cuomo get into Yale?

epiclol
"Accept now that all you have seen from the day of your birth on the surface of the earth, to the present, are wonderful only because the finite mind of man is confused with fragments of evidence, that, from whatever direction we meet them, spring from an unreachable infinity."

"There was a man who could create what could not be imagined. A temple so great you questioned if it was built with human hands. A man who built an idea into the greatest force the world has ever known. A world built from a single word. I care not for the folly of man but for the end of human contention."

Proving yet again why college is a scam.

A scam where power people pay their kids way in, bypassing mental competency qualifications.

Wow. Tucker has some nerve throwing all that noise without a single sentence specifying his own gargantuan history of nepotism catapulting him into media stardom.

Let's see. His dad was an ambassador and news anchor in LA, married when Tucker was ten to a Swanson (frozen foods) heiress and niece of Senator Fullbright. Oh and his daddy was also head of the corporation for public broadcasting.

Such a background might merit some mention while he is castigating political opponents and their children for suspicious gaming of the meritocracy.

Unlike Cuomo, Tucker is good at his job.

Tucker is great at his job (look at the ratings - Fox is #1). Cuomo is terrible and hard to watch and listen to - look at how CNNs rating have TANKED in the last year

I don't think it is good journalistic practice to ignore his own history of privilege and that of many republicans too while highlighting those of his competitors. Bad form hack journalism. He was not given opportunities in his early career because of much of anything but his family wealth and connections. Got him gigs at major thinktanks, newspapers, tv gigs at an age that was basically unheard of at the time. See how many other talking heads got started barely out of their twenties in that era.

Popularity means jack when assessing a journalist. I will say that Tucker does take some impressive stands now and then. But just often he churns our stuff like this half-baked partisan tripe that is pathetic. Even though true, a more balanced presentation would make the issue much more salient. And a simple disclaimer would shield from the obnoxious hypocrisy he is making loud and clear.

If you read those "Secrets to College Admissions" books, they will tell you the truth strait out. You're selected in accordance with your potential and ability to become famous and wealthy after your time in college. That's it and that's all.

They don't care about anything else as their top A choices.
Alumni, Athletes, Gifted at a particular area, those people get in first. Someone who already attained fame, first. I'm fairly sure if Taylor Swift told Yale she wants in to major in English Literature, they can work it out.
It's just reality. But so what, so are Gucci and Prada, and nobody really needs that crap, unless you plan a life in the upper sphere with those awful libs!

How much of an actual "idiot" anyone really is shouldn't be confused with liberalism. Without seeing his actual academic work there is no way of knowing if he's bright or not. He's obviously going to go into politics and run at some point, that's why he went to Yale, to become an Actor, then Senator then President. This is the gig he landed for now.

It's all planned ahead, they believe in birthrights, unless your father disinherits you from those rights. It can go either way you know.
It's all planned by the elite. You can overcome or circumvent the plan, but it's very hard work most can't do.

Nobody needs to go to Yale. It's in a miserable location, I would never send my kid to New Haven to go to college. So many other wonderfull colleges to make a life from.

I like Tucker Calson except for his Marijuna views, he's an idiot on that issue.
