Last time I flew, everyone had big seats, you could smoke and the lunches were actually good and the attendance were giving out alcohol drinks constantly.

Don't care about the smoking since I quit but I'll never fly again.
All they do is treat people like cattle now.
I would rather charter small planes if I need to fly anywhere again.

I live close to a big Air force pilot training base, used to know some of the mechanics. They told me they could skinny up inside to lay out lines of coke to snort and it was so tight no one could ever see them to bust them.
Everyday those SOBs fly over my house.
Scary to live here.

That plane is so old, it still has ash trays in the hand rests. If I get on a plane with ash trays, I kindly leave the plane and grab a different flight.

I am not kidding. Luckily, I can now use flight aware to check out the plane type before I book.

The thing's a spinner, for God's sake. It's in front of the engine and doesn't get hot. If you didn't want to see it, you should have bought a first class ticket and sat up front.

Sure, but they can swap out equipment at the last minute. It may not always be the same type.

They really are, and are a pilot's aircraft.

Not as comfortable as a 737 though for the passengers, especially if they're sitting back by the engines.

I mean look around. Customer service everywhere. From Restaurants, to stores, even amusement parks. How many breakdowns you hear about even in top notch places like Disney. It wasn't like that years ago.

People have stopped caring and no longer give a crap about anything. About working, doing a good job, making sure stuff is done right, excellence. Being knowledgeable. How many places you go or call where the person working has no clue about anything. Everyone is like "I don't know."

Everyone has become too dumbed down and indifferent.

We're in for a screwed up future.

True, nythinker, but think of our growing plight as this:

- You have a low paying wage slave job where you can never get ahead in the absolute best of situations without expensive yet paradoxically worthless degrees

- you must do up to constant horrific things to others for the slightest amounts of respect from management while at the same time your coworkers will absolutely hate you and do everything they can to destroy you even if it means literally destroying your only mode of transportation and/or other personal property of yours.

- Trump refuses to really stem the tsunami of illegal immigrants from what I've been finding more and more. This means in your utterly soul crushing and destroying lowly wage slave job(s) your wages will remain cripplingly low and what's worse as more illegal immigrants continue to flow into the U.S. your wages will continue to plummet.

- Quite possibly literally noone around you physically will ever give a crap about you as an individual, easily stomp on you for even a penny. They'll rob you for your penny and murder you for your penny if need be. You mean so very little in life that a soul crushing depression is your only answer to life. You no longer look forward to anything in life but to your inevitable death. You celebrate your birthdays solely so you can count down the years, months, then days down to your inevitable death. After all, quite possibly literally everyone around you hates you to the point of raping you, murdering you, and/or enslaving you however they can before ultimately murdering you.

I could go on and on, but I'll stop here. Real life sucks so badly. I genuinely wonder how much longer before all hell breaks loose across the Union before a civil war forms and is committed to by the masses and before Trump or whomever is our current President is forced to declare national Martial Law.
