I would help pick it up and secure the area. Any “Teens” or “youth” who attempted to start looting it would be filmed my phone and I’d probably draw my Glock on them. I’m not a thief, and I have no mercy for any who are.

I don't get it. I wouldn't stop along 285 for fear of my life but calling it theft seems wrong. I've picked up tools and ladders and miscellaneous along rural highways and made good use of those things. Does that make me a thief? Why would that be any different?

The cash is in bags... truck doors are triple locked. $ just does not simply fly out - insider/employee con job. How much cash "flew around" the inside of the truck that did not see the outside? How much pocketed by the driver and lookout(s)? This is what happens when proper potential employee background checks are not conducted. Interrogation time! Don't be fooled!

I’d just keep driving. If I was hunting in the woods, found bag of cash with no ideas where it came from, I’d spend it.
