Adventure awaits! Have a good time...report oddities you see back here along the way!

In the summer road trips are always fun you never know what you’ll see...

cows transported on pick up truck beds
Half nekid bikers
Packs of those rice burner racers on their way to the desert

Chip, take a ride down to the moloch auto dealer, and bring me a Lincoln MK X, 2016 edition with 19,000 miles on it.

Tell them it is needed for a matter of survival for THE ENTIRE HUMAN POPULATION FROM START TO FINISH, and they will probably give it to you for free.

And then go pick up the sasquatch and drive to the battlefield.

Started getting me around 12 hours in but i keep stretching and switching off with my travel buddy. It's also dark and I'm legally blind, there's the rest of the bugs remaining on earth smashed on the shield and a crack that is working it's way across.

Re: Taking a 17 hour drive!
Nothing swells the heart like an old-fashioned summertime road trip! I've been itchin for one myself... The papa in me insists that you make sure that others know about your rough plans and that you take plenty of water with you... lots of water... You don't have to have a "game plan" but, if you do ever decide on a particular destination... make sure that you tell 'somebody' about it... jealous.... have fun out there! Take lots of pictures and videos!!!

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76945858

I am doing 2700 miles right after the funeral Friday. All by my lonesome. On the drive in even got a hike in and watched them turn the lights on at Rushmore. No tolls, no motels, just drive and camp. Two lane blacktop and farm roads. Toons all those ktel top hits of the 70, 80, 90 or rhinos 200 songs in each set I think I can go both ways without a repeat. Dads tools are heavy just one of those big red boxes is 1000 pounds. Still have to put 1500 pounds into the utility trailer.

Everybody kept scaring me about Yellowstone lol. It was the Chicago volcano I give the wide birth to.
