A mother has taken car-pooling to a whole new level after she was caught driving her kids on the roof of her SUV, police say.

Stunned officers in Dixon, Ill. were tipped off on Tuesday afternoon about the vehicle, which had a large inflatable pool placed on its roof.

When officers from Dixon Police Department were dispatched, they allegedly found the white Audi with two young girls sitting in the blow-up pool.

Her arrest doesn't have anything to do with freedom or liberty. Good grief, you don't put your kids inside an inflatable on top of your car to hold it down. She's lucky it didn't blow off the roof and end up throwing her kids head-first into the asphalt.
