Abysmal robbery They purposefully will slow certain unlimited plan users down to hopefully get them to upgrade to a "better" unlimited plan. Especially the older grandfathered in plans we don't offer anymore pretty sure all providers do that shite though. Activation fees keep going up and up. They are cakin' on people |

But the shitty commission structure has created a revolving door here for the past year. Some shady salesman i work with will add insurance to a persons plan without telling them. Insurance was 9 dollars 2 years ago, was 13 most of this year, is now 15. Still have to pay a 200 dollar deductible if you file a claim. But again most insurances are scams They are just siphoning more and more money from people, i wasn't cut out for a sales job honestly |

Crypto-Tard User ID: 77372940 United States 07/11/2019 01:40 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Which carrier should we switch to? What about using a trunk line service and a tiny linux PDA and wifi for calling? I can port my ATT number there for about $3 per month. That would end the tracking, fake calls, etc. Speaking of fake calls, why don't the telcos block these fake calls? I must get 5-10 per day. I never answer them. That must be part of the scam, tho I'm not sure how the telco makes money from that? When you are afraid of losing your life, you have already lost your life. Don't be afraid. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77041977 I've seen it with co workers adding insurance without their knowledge. Some customers come in here saying they got a "free tablet"... but the verizon rep wouldn't tell them they would have to pay 20 bucks a month for the service. With a 175 early termination fee. people get played all the time it's kinda sickening |

If you have good coverage where you need your service go with att or sprint - a bit cheaper. No provider can deal with those fake calls, i get 5-10 a day myself. I even got a text message from a number i used to get robo calls from saying " i will sue you " hahaha These fake call scams took my phone number, used it to call someone else and then that person sent a text which came through to me lol I can't really help ya on what provider you should use. Look at coverage maps and get the best bang for your buck - do some research into it. I'm sure all providers will scam ya where they can |
Inhuman Deviant User ID: 77389392 United States 07/11/2019 02:03 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Does Verizon give it's employees a phone and unlimited plan? Would make sense as it'd be embarrassing if an employee at work rebooted his phone and all the customers in the store heard the AT&T boot music. I'm also pretty sure they started doing this when AT&T had iPhone exclusivity. They obviously didn't want their employees to be selling the Motorola Droid (at the time) while having an iphone on their hip. Inhuman Deviant |

Everyone under that gets half off data but no discounts on phones. Another scam providers will pull....For example An iphone 8 might work with att but not with verizons network. They Make some phones specifically to work on some towers, but not all provider towers. Just to keep customers locked in with them |

I am on another carrier so just asking. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1777554 my bad soft reset, don't factory reset lol Usually the side button, volume down button and the home button - hold all 3 till it restarts. Do that AFTER you reset network settings, if that doesn't work try doing it beforehand. I've heard it works from multiple peoples |
