More and more men are wearing skirts | |

I've personally seen men wearing them in the UK. They looked pretty cool actually. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77806611 [link to www.gq.com (secure)] [link to www.gq-magazine.co.uk (secure)] I personally don't see the problem. Pants are often very restrictive. The worst thing about them is the lack of ventilation 'down there'. In summer it can get very sweaty and smelly. Skirts offer more air to get through. Also, they've been worn for thousands of years by men. I don't get why suddenly it became socially un-acceptable. It's just a piece of fabric. We still seem to have a kind of victorian attitude to what you are 'allowed' to wear and not to wear. Would it really bother you if you saw a man wearing a skirt? I might get one myself and I'm a dude. Uh, no, no we're not, actually... the freaks in that article aren't men. ![]() I am a Christian. AltSwede User ID: 77731515 ![]() 07/11/2019 05:42 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | But what about a skirt? The Romans and Greeks wore them. Pants seem to me like one of the worst inventions ever. So restrictive and without much ventilation as I said. Plus, it was the barbarians who wore them. Civilised people wore skirts. ![]() Really??? And look what happened to Rome. Yep, they conquered Europe and beyond in a skirt. We are currently being conquered by Islam. The weakness of the pants are to blame. Time to once again adopt a skirt and fight back! Then you must up the ante, the koranimals wear dresses... they're even more ghey than you, they're super ghey with their dresses and not to forget the diapers they have on their heads. AltSwede |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 71660155 ![]() 07/11/2019 05:48 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It's a matter of INTENT. If the intent of that day was that skirts were masculine, so be it. The intent of today is to show off their femininity and abide with the gender neutrality narrative. It's now what people are wearing but what people are wearing according to the prevailing mindset of the day. |

But I've seen macho-men wearing them too. If Napoleon had dressed his soldiers in skirts and not pants, he might have conquered all of europe and held onto it for a long time, like Rome did. But alas, he didn't believe in the power of the skirt. Skirts on men have their place! It's just fabric! |
