I've personally seen men wearing them in the UK. They looked pretty cool actually. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77806611 [link to www.gq.com (secure)] [link to www.gq-magazine.co.uk (secure)] I personally don't see the problem. Pants are often very restrictive. The worst thing about them is the lack of ventilation 'down there'. In summer it can get very sweaty and smelly. Skirts offer more air to get through. Also, they've been worn for thousands of years by men. I don't get why suddenly it became socially un-acceptable. It's just a piece of fabric. We still seem to have a kind of victorian attitude to what you are 'allowed' to wear and not to wear. Would it really bother you if you saw a man wearing a skirt? I might get one myself and I'm a dude. All the grandpa's of the US would go into sudden shock seeing their young men or any man wearing a skirt or dress. If it's not Shellback initiation it's WTF!? |

Why do people feel they must assume the role of some kind fashion police? Why do they feel threatened by the skirt? It's complete absurd to be that bent out of shape over a piece of fabric that you must deem it 'un-acceptable'. It's like living in Victorian times for goodness sake. When women started wearing pants it caused an out-cry because it was deemed 'socially un-acceptable', even laws were enacted to stop women dressing as they wished in pants as absurd as that is, but they continued doing it, and now no-one bats an eyelid anymore. I find it crazy that people are still so programmed and set in their ways, that they feel a man in a piece of fabric called a skirt is a no-no, but a kilt is fine, as is a woman in pants or jeans. Rather hypocritical. If anything it's the men who feel threatened by it who are the insecure ones. The kind of outrage you see here feels like a battle between people unable to move away from their programmed group-think reactionalism vesus individualism and self-expression. |

They are scared of getting a bit of cold on their legs! Man-up! Men in skirts are used to the cold, they have no such fear! So wearing pants you have sweaty balls in summer which absolutely stank. And you wear them in winter to protect your legs because you can't handle the cold! pah! Another win for real men who wear the skirt! The pants bridage are taking a real battering here! |

Fuck you and your what pills comment. I'm perfectly sane. Yes, it is absolutely 100% ok for people to get offended by it. Between the brainwashing, programming, soy, women's lib, SEXUALHOMODEVIANT club agenda, we need MEN. Real men to lead strong families not effeminate sissy bois. Society is already in trouble and by wearing skirts, you further the agenda and sink us further into moral derogation as a whole. It's a cancer and skirt wearing males a carcinogen.
