The tracking system is inherently flawed because it requires people to track things.

Have never seen a flight track do this. The plane made some abrupt course changes just now, including a 90° turn toward south southwest, then the track changed to a straight path, again. More of a south southeast heading now.

Yes it did. You have to stay on it or you miss it when the track gets straightened out. The entire flight path has been 'smoothed' out now, straight lines instead of meandering in short distances.
