35 Passenger injuries on Air Canada flight that landed in Honolulu range from concussions to neck injuries to a flight attendant getting hit with a drink cart. Around 9 are headed to hospital for various injuries

Someone should do someting about the conxitions of the roads in the sky.

Full of fucken pot holes and corrugation.

My daughter son in law and their children were on that flight. She text a hour or so ago that they were fine but there were a number of injuries aboard

My daughter just texted and said that it was very dramatic with people hitting the ceiling etc she always makes sure the kids have their seat belts on even when sleeping
They are waiting to see If they going on a new flight or going to a hotel

My son in law is a doctor so I don’t know whether he was involved in assisting

She just send photos a lot of hatchs open and some oxygen masks hanging I think maybe some yellow luggage and a video of the plane dumping fuel before landing

What's really weird is this is not the first time for this same flight number.

Narrative:

Air Canada flight AC34 from Sydney to Vancouver experienced severe turbulence southwest of Hawaii and diverted to Honolulu. At least 4 crew and 11 passengers injured, 4 hospitalized. Aircraft departed for Vancouver a few hours later.

My wife was a flight attendant. She would always wonder why in the hell passengers unbuckle their seat belts while in flight? Just because the pilot turns the sign off doesn't mean you should be meandering around the plane or just sitting there without it on - which most people are. You are in a tube going 500 mph at 35,000 feet. Anything could happen at any time. The flight attendants signed up to take the risk walking around assisting passengers. Just as you would in a passenger vehicle - KEEP YOUR DAMN SEAT BELTS ON!
