Fighting for your life in dreams and waking up tired.
My dreams were starting to get peaceful for the first time in a while. I was feeling resting when I woke up.

But now the fighting dreams are back.

Unlike some, I dont get rest in my sleep because its like I go to another world. One where I can see colors, taste and smell. I've started getting attacked again.

Its usually someone trying to break into mt house. Or a snake coming after me.. Last night i dreamt people were coming after my husband and I saw it coming before him so i fought for him. My guns never work in my dreams or the bullets turn to rubber so I have to do hand to hand combat. Last night i dreamt i had to slash up the intruders with my giant, meat cleaver I actually use in real life and i had to keep fighting until the dream people died. It was like they were invincible. But they did finally die.

I woke up SO drained and emotional.

Why cant I have rest in my sleep?

I was having peaceful dreams for once for awhile there where I felt rested but now I wake up feeling automatically drained, and coffee doesnt help.

A typical response might suggest you are working through some things that your "subconscious" mind has identified as a threat, but your "conscious" mind hasn't noticed yet.

Pay attention to any changes in lifestyle/routine/social interactions that may have occured recently

Thats the least troublesome interpretation...

I know that feeling well, although I typically am not fighting in my dreams. It's almost like when I go to sleep, I wake up somewhere else and, put in another full days work/life, and then when I wake up it's like I never even slept.

I'm also a very lucid dreamer, which you may be as well. Funny thing is, I typically like the dreams I'm in, waking up from them sometimes is actually a drag to be honest.

I definitely end up lucid sometimes.

There fighting dreams are alot different than my normal dreams. Theyre very dark, and I feel alot different when I wake up. I feel emotional and drained after waking from them.

Recently I was having my dreams about beautiful Sandy beaches and ocean water. And also beautiful unknown fruits and veggies in a garden. Those were so peaceful. Like you I hated waking from those. These violent dreams are horrible. But its like training kind of if I'm honest.

A long time ago i was scared to face the enemies in dreams. Now I run to them and destroy them, not cower away.

That sounds like the space aliens playing on of their "dreams" when you go to bed. You're not supposed to fight for your life in your dream and wake up drained. You're supposed to wake up rested and ready to go!

I definitely think its something evil.

I am very very intuitive and can tell when SOMETHING else is influencing me. It sucks. When i would have the ocean and garden dreamd i would sleep so well!!

Tornado dreams ALL THE TIME!! Have had a few Recently!! I usually watch the sky turn from beautitul to dark and ominous but am always hypnotized by it. The clouds quickly turn to funnels which come towards me but usually never reach me..

But the recent tornado dream, the tornado came towards me and right as it was hitting the house I woke up. Bizarre.

I’m the same way. My bullets are wooden though and all I can find are butter knives.

Lately, I’ve been dreaming about bears, lions and tigers in the yard, trying to get in or being in the yard and trying to get back to house but can’t walk.

I feel your pain. I wake up tired, like I just was on an expedition and now I have to go to work.

I talk to others and they have no dreams they can remember. It’s pretty strange.

I know what you mean.

I strongly believe dreaming is a great thing though and tells you lots. I mean, Joseph in the bible was given dreams by God. Many of my dreams were warnings.

Thank you for sharing, honestly. Im just tired of being tired as we all are.

Re: Fighting for your life in dreams and waking up tired.
If I have dreams, they are either bad or simply a replay of my workday. So yeah, I wake up tired. I'm not going to turn to people whose business is planting subconscious ideas to make them bad to make them good, however. It just seems self-defeating. It's better to be depressed to everyone's loss than a slave to the benefit of a few.

Make sure you properly renounced any signature you ever put on paper for those companies. You may not work there anymore but there may still be spiritual connections that are not severed yet.
