Hacked games? Hell yeah!

I've been enjoying an NES "hack" of the original NES Metroid called Metroid : Rogue Dawn. It's at least as good (if not better) than 85% of official NES releases... It works on a flash cartridge so you can play on original hardware.

^^ I have to add that Metroid : Rogue Dawn is in my top 10 list of all NES games
ever (and I've played many hundreds of NES
games to compare...)

It's not fair to mention only Metroid : Rogue Dawn (despite its greatness.)

Here are a few more excellent NES hacks that I've been playing, in no particular order. Some of these are phenomenal:

*Castlevania - The Holy Relics ('nuff said)

Super Mario Bros. 3Mix (a great SMB3 remix)

Mario Adventure (another SMB3 hack...rather difficult)

SMB3 - The Rainbow Realms (no explanation necessary)

There's also an insanely fun 2-player simultaneous co-op hack of the original Super Mario Bros. that you're going to wish existed back in 1985...
