A weaker US Dollar is bad in many respects, but let's just focus on one adverse effect:

This policy Trump wants will have an adverse effect on expatriates who want to live out of the country.

Right now with a strong Dollar we can live very well in many Latin American countries that are much freer than the USA police state control-grid.
