The demonization of the Christian male, especially the white Christian male, is a leftist / feminist construct. So use their own construct against them. You have labeled me a predator, a bigot and a misogynist. You have thrown me in with the lowest of characters and have claimed that I am not to be trusted. You have concocted a #MeToo movement that can be drawn and wielded like a sword against my throat at your whim. But I have a weapon of my own to wield. Miss. candidate stands by his rule: No time alone with a female reporter

A Mississippi Republican running for governor and a female reporter seeking to spend a day with him on the campaign trail squared off Thursday morning on CNN over his refusal to be alone with her.

The candidate, state Rep. Robert Foster, stood by his decision to insist that reporter Larrison Campbell bring a male colleague if she wanted a “ride-along” in his truck because he “just wanted to keep things professional” and avoid “a lot of opportunities where it would’ve been an awkward situation.”

“I didn’t want to end up in a situation where me and Ms. Campbell were alone for an extended period of time throughout that 15- to 16-hour day. And so out of precaution, I wanted to have her bring someone with her, a male colleague,” Foster said over the phone in a live interview with CNN’s John Berman Thursday.

Last week, the Washington Post profiled second lady Karen Pence, a devout Christian and devoted wife who is, as the story put it, her husband's "prayer warrior," "gut check" and "shield."

Ashley Parker, the reporter, noted that Vice President Mike Pence once had told The Hill, a political newspaper and website, that he never dines with women alone, nor does he attend functions without his wife if alcohol is being served.
