Money is the root of all evil. The lust for it and the power it brings the elite has caused more pain and suffering to millions and billions around the world in modern history than anything else. Bankers who are in charge of handling the fake monies are scum and I’m glad some lucky plebs like us were able to grab some of it.

Hopefully, they use it wisely to pay down debt and other important things. And if possible put that money back into local, community owned stores rather than the Walmart’s and Starbucks of the world, plus donate some of their free grab to women’s shelters or the poor.

Secondly, that anchor in the middle made it very obvious to me that he’d be loading up his beemer with as much cash as his grubby hands could grab.

i've i was a billionaire. I would make a job where you picked up money like this and got to keep it. Yea i would make zero profit and loose about a billion in the end. But people would enjoy it and i would create a great job for people. Exercise, fair pay everything.
A few rules would be no weapons of any kind, and no bags, just normal clothes. you're only allowed to take out what you can carry.
If you get caught on camera assaulting another picker you forfeit all your money for that day.

How much money do you think there WAS, anyway? The truck probably just picked up from Wal-Mart or some other retail store so it would be mostly 10's and 20's. And these people are parked bumper to bumper so not a lot of territory. Additionally the money is scattered all over the road and they don't have the luxury of a lot of time before the po-leece show up. I'd be surprised if each person got more than a couple of hundred dollars, which sure won't be used for paying off debt, donating to women's shelters, or putting their kids through college.

My best guess is that this evening they'll be celebrating their good fortune with some nice thick Porterhouse steaks on the grill and some ice-cold brewskys.

Not a real prepper in the lot. Everyone knows you should at all times have a good broom and / or a cordless shopvad in their vehicles at all times. Nobody has any idea how to be prepared. Sad.
