How many DECADES of reparations and apology do they need?

And why would people who never owned slaves apologize?

Only 1.4% of all colonials owned any slaves. And most of the "evil" white people in America are the descendants of those who came here after the civil war.

And speaking of the civil war, why don't these poor neglected black people give any thanks (at least) to the descendants of all those "evil" white people who fought to free slaves?

Why don't we give reparations to the descendants of the indentured Irish? They had it worse, in many ways, than the black slaves did.
