alright more horse stories.. i should point out i rode dirt bike and quad runners growing up but horses are something way different.
My dad loved to feed the horses at my grandpa's, but after giving them hay he would try to hand feed some apples. One of the horses would always bite his hand and he got discouraged.
My mom while riding as a young girl had her horse get spooked and it ran her leg into barbed wire fence, she was shy of riding after that.

I was put off for a while when a horse wanted to show me how fast he could go and tested me running straight downhill towards barbed wire end then turned almost 90 degrees away from it. I learned years later telling the horses caretaker what his horse, he recently acquired at the time of the incident, did and he said the horse was an award winning racehorse. I said no wonder. Lol
