Cloud - Sky - 3 mountains, the middle mountain raised/opened up like a box lid but was a head and shoulders. A giant lifting up out of the ground and the other two mountains... turned out they were it's knees and legs. Smoke rising high from the event [of course].

Quite often within matrix beliefs the structure is seen similar to your descriptions usually though it is seen as individual telepathic connecting interface with each mountain as individual connecting valley.
Many stories of giants becoming mountains where they died is told and passed down from the elders of nopes through legend.
