Was in a tipi today which is lodge owned by woman but a man story teller was inside telling about the square.

He said the sun rises in the east and sets in the west and as it rises you see the eagle shining above in the sky and below it the tiny mouse. In the west the big strong bear standing strong with the turtle below it. Arced the arrow across from east to west to show the movement of growth.

The eagle represents the mother and the mouse represents spirit of us. The bear represents the male, our father, brothers, uncles. The turtle represents wisdom of the grandmothers. In the next direction is the mountain lion. It represents all the teachings and learnings of the mouse. School.
The last direction lies the mountain. Which the mouse says to go and climb. It is where our spirit wants us to go. Those 4 directions represent the square. Which he drew with the arrow in the ground.

I should of asked what beyond the mountain.


But coincidentally, I bought before that some osha root. And looked it up not long ago and says it is bear medicine. And cannot live outside the mountain because it is dependent on mycorrhizal fungi to survive.

And we know mycorrhiza is like the internet under the soil as microbes are within our bodies. Underground lightening.
