i support it but big problem they aint telling you.requires too much nitrogen,depletes the soil of it.only if it rots in place does it help replenish the soil.a super plsnt needs super nutes.
the crop needs to be rotated with sugar cane and the cane tilled under each round.

True on the longevity. I don’t know anything about this other than what I read, but my wife and I inherited an oak table that’s around 120 years old and it still looks great.

I talked to one of the guys leading the project and he has already set up multiple plants in China. The guy I talked to was responsible for the hardwood flooring, it is actually very pretty, can be installed and sanded/finished like a traditional hardwood floor. I think it was 5” wide

I’m trying to get samples in my hands to play with and hope to install some this year. I could make a killing with this product and it will be ecologically sound, it’s 20% harder than oak too

True. We just bought ~1400 square feet of flooring from Lumber Liquidators for remodeling. $$$ /sigh

The stuff is 20% stronger than oak, not 2000%.

I use all natural water based products from Sweden and I have always hoped for Hempwood someday. I should be able to get about $15 sq ft installed, sanded/ finished with product included, based on my conversations with him.

Been posting on this for some time. Years!

It looks rough, more like particle wood. But it can be finished up nicely or laminated or given a nice stucco.

Also, Cherry is wonderful.

I love Birch wood, and its fast growing, 15 year tree farms and better forest management. It means not clear cutting AND NOT just replanting fir trees. Forests are diverse so keep them that way.

Heck, I thought that they were just growing hemp plants big and tall and cutting them in 3 or 4 years to cut up for lumber.

I really don't like manufactured wood.
