The plan is to de-electrify and depopulate vast areas and steal the land. Force people into kill zones. This is what is happening. College age whites and TV brainwashed white women think their electric won't ever get turned off... |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77192746 It's expensive and very inefficient.. not viable over the long run. ...and of course natural gas can be used as the backup or standby. |

"green energy" is often more taxing on the environment (due to gross inefficiencies and hidden burdens it imposes) thn the much more efficient fossil fuels. The best alt energy source is hydro (from damming up rivers) as has been used for quite some time and actually is efficient and the least polluting. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77192746 Yes your right but creeks freeze also and the weather temps and upcoming changes in winter temps will make water hydro harder to do without having a great big creek....not everybody has that.... best to do a little of all of it...wind...solar and water hydro.... educate yourself and learn then nobody can rip you off...If they do then its your own fault.... |

Just keep in mind that the "green energy" schemes are being rolled out by power players like T. Boone Pickens who are setting the industry up to fail for obvious reasons. Without this kind of interference we could have long ago rectified this ridiculous centralized power grid scenario that shuts off just when you need it most. By now we could have had a plethoria of alternative energy sources but no, big energy industries are determined to keep this stuff on the back burner as long as possible. Once again, the reasoning is obvious, too many people making too much money and accumulating too much influence. |

Insane amounts of untapped hydro energy in the Midwest, because the electric companies find smaller generation less profitable. Most of It is a scam!!! $2000 solar trash cans WTF $25k for a dumpster compactor that wont work at night when the big cleaning crew start. $100k emergency lighting power inverters with $40k of battery's to store power, everyone I have worked on does not work, NO Emergency lights in the building at all. The battery as per warranty must be kept cool 75 d or less, So we run utility powered Air conditioning to cool them 24/7 this is way more power than the emergency lighting load will ever be!!! That must be replaced every 3-4 years I am a master electrician and licensed contractor in several states. The systems installed that work during day time are lighting, So how much lighting is needed during the day time? It does lessen the utility load sandman |

Residential is good as it generates the power you can use during the day, If you and your spouse work then not so much, unless someone is using the power during the day. "Despite all that’s been said about climate change and oil’s role in causing it — and about the enormous progress being made in bringing solar and wind power online — we remain trapped in a remarkably oil-dependent world. To grasp this reality, all you have to do is read the most recent edition of oil giant BP’s “Statistical Review of World Energy,” published this June. In 2018, according to that report, oil still accounted for by far the largest share of world energy consumption, as it has every year for decades. All told, 33.6 percent of world energy consumption last year was made up of oil, 27.2 percent of coal (itself a global disgrace), 23.9 percent of natural gas, 6.8 percent of hydro-electricity, 4.4 percent of nuclear power, and a mere 4 percent of renewables." [link to www.zerohedge.com (secure)] A switch to a renewable/green energy powered world now means a 96% power blackout. i.e, 7.2 billion of the worlds 7.5 billion people return to the Medieval Period, having no electricity, lighting, heating, A/C, refrigeration, rapid transportation, air travel, telecommunication, internet, media access... Solartards -ironically- live in a world that's only 4% shy of total darkness.
