Same reason I didn't put a Trump sign in my yard in 2016 and won't next year. There are crazy people on the left and they will attack you over something like that, and I don't want to have to kill somebody while I'm pumping gas or walking to my car with groceries.

Case in point: In 2016, Roy Moore ran for Senate in Alabama. I'm no fan of Moore, but that's really neither here nor there. In my town, there were hundreds of signs in yards for his opponent, now Sen. Doug Jones. There was exactly one sign supporting Moore in the whole town, and it was posted on the side of an apartment building 20 feet off the ground. That sign was not up 24 hours before someone had defaced it. Meanwhile, the Jones signs went unmolested for the entirety of the election. If they will climb a ladder in the middle of the night just to erase their political opponent's right to free speech, what will they do to my kids' ground level front-of-the-house window over a Trump sign or me wearing a MAGA hat around my college town full of purple-haired Antifa sympathizers?

I wear mine all the time around the DFW.

Just wondered why my fellow conservatives/trump supporters don’t wear theirs.

In 5 years since they’ve rolled out, outside of rallys, I may have seen a total of 15 people wearing theirs in public.

It pains me to see such vocal people who have no conviction. That claim to wear Christ’s body armor and believe you are protected by our God, yet are fearful of the opposition when wearing a hat in public.

Get beat up, lose job, and the list goes on....


When you look the part, set a tone, and a presence they don’t mess with you. Some of you, no, most of you need to hit the gym and eat better.

In 2004, I put a "W" sticker on my car and, within 3 hours, had received two middle fingers and had a rock thrown at my car while driving, and that was when I was 26, single, and in the best shape of my life. I'm not going through that again, I'm not about to put my kids through that, the left hates Trump A LOT more than they hated Bush, and have gotten significantly crazier since 2004.

I wear a hat with an American flag and get lots of dirty looks just for that. I’m a vet and just happen to love my country. No big fan of trump but he is our best option at the moment.
