That train to no where....someone got a lot of money.
The US department of transportation are not happy about it.
A couple billion $ disappeared.

Now I hear about one quarter is done and they are just going to leave it half built. Sounds like what happened in Russia during the collapse of the Soviet Union... exact same thing; many construction projects left unfinished and half-built for over decades. It was a way to launder money that would be stolen, in the collapse of an empire.
