These are old news in Ireland. They steal a JCB, ram the wall, lift the ATM onto their vehicle, set JCB in fire and are away minted.

Certainly very common in UK - it's usually gangs of Pikeys doing it, same MO every time steal some sort of Digger from a building site - drive it up to 30 miles to a cash machine at 3am then bish bosh and away repeat every couple of weeks.

Thing is the Police know who is doing it - I know people who have told them ............ and the Police don't even take a statement - it seems they have been told to stand down, because of the drive to get people off of cash.


Banks are rapidly disappearing and the cash machines are not being replaced.
