True story. I was driving a very old man. Very old. Like hardly anyone lives to be his age. He told me he was up in space once.

Ok that is important to your story... he was in a space capsule... of sorts.. not one like we have knowingly sent up. I hope you run into him again. The story is interesting and has a real feel to it.

there are tunnels to and in inner earth with areas of many occupants. Many entrances and there is a whole civilization down there... the Headquarters of the angelics of OUR universe of Nebadon are under Nepal... and there is a one million population city there. That is why so many craft sightings are in that region.

If he was he was super agent giving zero clue to someone such as myself. I'd say no chance but heck this place is weirder than I'll ever know.

He probably gets a kick out of telling that story and it is only part true. If he was so old, he could be confused by now? Old people see many things in another reality that they consider true cos it is true to them.

Yes he very well could have been confused... he should have been at his age. I'll just say this, when it happened I believed him and I think he believed it.

I had a strange story told to me a while back, and I've posted it on glp a couple times.

A retired FBI (later went into the DEA, and that much is 100% true) told me that he drove Lee Harvey Oswald from Baton Rouge to Dallas the day before Kennedy was shot.

We have had quite a few astronauts over the years.

They had maned bases on the moon since the 50s

My best friend, when I was about 25, was in a deadly car accident. One died, one broke his back and she was thrown from the car (it rolled) and struck a tree with her head at 80 mph. She was life flighted to Jefferson Hospital with a broken neck and many, many life threatening injuries. She was in a coma for 3 months. She had many blood clots in her brain and massive brain swelling.

She died 5 or 6 times, but they managed to revive her.

She lost her long term memory completely.

When she was rehabbed, she told us stories of her death experiences.

One of the common experiences she had in all of the times she died was flying past high rise buildings (she was in Center City Philadelphia Hospital lots of tall bldgs).

She described flying way up in the sky, she said she was flying super fast.

She described seeing her grandmother and little brother who had died at the age of 3. (Remember, she lost all of her long term memory, so she described these people when she was able to talk again.)

I wonder if this old man had a near death experience?

She was carried to the hospital by medical evac helicopter.

So they stopped to visit her dead grandmother and brother on the way?

He may have been a recognized astronaut or a secret astronaut I should see if I can figure out if he had any connections to the program. Now Im thinking well crap NASA has a place here in town. He probably did work for or contracted for NASA or at least it would fit with my location.

That is a great story and perhaps you are right.

Likely just dementia. I have a relative (currently assisting in her care) who, if you didn't know her, tells stories that you'd believe were true (she's very convincing and quick to make up more stories, should someone question her... quite amazing, actually) Probably 30% of her stories are completely untrue and another 50% are embellished 9 ways to Sunday.

I've had a lot of experience in this area and each case of dementia seems to have their own unique "qualities"

Old timers got plenty of tales to tell.

Before everything suddenly became fake.

Before the earth became flat.

Before boys became girls.

Before people were stupid enough to pay $5 for a 10 cent cup of coffee.

all the people around me believe every word I say. I like their white coats but they will never let me use the telephone.

Not that I remember. And I didn't ask him one question about it. I may have said 'oh yeah?' or 'uh huh' or 'really?' but I think I was silent about it. Kinda hoping the wife would chime in but she didn't and he just moved onto something else.
