Look at how crisp and clear the picture quality is on this movie trailer 1969. The colours are vivid, the picture is sharp, you could watch the film beginning to end without losing interest:

By 1969 colour programming had already arrived and was being widely used. But even television programmes as far back as 1940 had a crisp, sharp image so the viewer knew what he was meant to be watching:

I don't know how it was for the people who lived through the Moon Landing in 1969, but surely there would have been a few free-thinking souls who did not buy into all the hype and thought the whole thing was a boring non-event. Days, months, years of talking about the widely-anticipated Moon Landing then (drumroll) the Great Reveal looked like this... (scroll to 58 seconds):

I cannot understand how anyone can get so excited about such grainy footage. You can hardly see anything, it looks like a blurry image from some 1900s silent movie !!!

Looking at the footage makes me wonder if the moon landing actually happened too early. By 1980, for example, it would've made a thrilling, exciting worldwide television event where at least you'd have proper footage and a proper visual record of the event. Unfortunately what we have from 1969 just doesn't seem amazing or astounding in any stretch of the imagination, just a huge disappointment

That's because the moon landing was not shot on film like the other video clips you posted.

I didn't then... but it wasn't too long after.
There Can Be NO Peace in the Heart or Progress in the Mind unless one falls wholeheartedly in love with Truth and IDEALS of Eternal Realities.

Mankind is on the march toward a new and unrevealed planetary destiny.

"MY SPIRIT, YOU ARE OMNIPOTENT. YOUR NAME IS HOLY. MAY YOUR REALM BE INCARNATE IN ME. MAY YOUR POWER REVEAL ITSELF WITHIN ME, ON EARTH AND IN THE HEAVEN. GIVE ME TODAY MY DAILY BREAD, AND THUS, LET ME RECOGNIZE MY TRANSGRESSIONS AND ERRORS, AND I SHALL RECOGNIZE THE TRUTH. AND DO NOT LEAD ME INTO TEMPTATION AND CONFUSION, BUT DELIVER ME FROM ERROR. FOR YOURS IS THE REALM WITHIN ME AND THE POWER AND THE KNOWLEDGE FOREVER,
AMEN.

Wisdom is not given, it is earned, and experience is the bestower.

Rejoice, for the world of ABSOLUTE TRANSPARENCY approaches, and decisions will be made according to the purity of your motives, for the eye of the Divine is an all-seeing eye, capable of glimpsing every flutter of the soul, knowing every yearning of your being and – incredible though it may seem – supporting every aspect of your own DIVINE PLAN.

God-consciousness, as it is experienced by an evolving mortal of the realms, must consist of three varying factors, three differential levels of reality realization. There is first the mind consciousness—the comprehension of the idea of God. Then follows the soul consciousness—the realization of the ideal of God. Last, dawns the spirit consciousness—the realization of the spirit reality of God. By the unification of these factors of the divine realization, no matter how incomplete, the mortal personality at all times overspreads all conscious levels with a realization of the personality of God.

the registered number of this world out of 5.6 Trillion evolutionary worlds bearing Human life.. is 5,342,482,337,666. There is nothing evil about 666. Just IGNORANCE and mind controlling.

People were very naive back then.

Think of the Power of Suggestion. It was seductive for US people to believe they had landed on the Moon. They wanted to believe it.

All good Mind Control suggestions are seductive. The target wants to believe it and that makes it very effective.

Try and dissuade people who bought into it and see their emotional reaction. Those Emotions override logic and reason and thus protect the Mind Control programming suggestion.

The Hubris in the USA is strong. Why would it not be when you are raised from birth to think your nation is the greatest on Earth.

That is why they ignore the ills of the USA, the greatest nation on Earth can't have problems.

The footage from the lunar surface was clear. It’s because the image was rebroadcast with a shitty camera in Australia and not a direct feed is why it looked shitty.

Good moon camera-> shitty old black and white CRT TV-> shitty CCD camera-> rebroadcast around the world

What you see is a shitty camera pointed at a shitty camera pointed at a shitty CRT TV. Not the actual image broadcast from the surface.

what a simplistic, albeit stupid way of looking at it. Times were different then. People TRUSTED the gov't. then, they had a totally different perspective of things then. You fail to realize this with your myopic 2019 lens upon everything.

"A simple phone patch through the radionet" :

Not exactly high tech for 1969.All "mobile phones" at the time were physical phone patches into a radio transmitter.

You idiots need to invest inyourselves and watch bill whittles' history of the APOLLO program to get some context of the space program during that decade.

OP, if you were not aware, how the stations broadcast the moon landing was NASA sent a direct feed to the station, then had a camera live feed trained on the screen picking up the NASA feed

This is how it was broadcast in "real time" back then

I always wondered where was the sound delay

Also technically NASA COULD HAVE BROADCAST ANYTHING like a pre recorded tape , no one but them would have known

Re: Those who were alive during the first Moon Landing in 1969... is there nobody amongst you that thought "What a crock of shite that was?"
Yes. I did.

Looking up at the moon silhouetted in the actual clear blue sky (it used to happen), from a trailer court in Anchorage, Alaska AND being 13 years old at the time ....

..I thought to myself "Really? They're walking on the moon? What a crock of shit."

I knew then and I know now it was faked.

Now, 50 years later, the evidence has presented itself to those who have put in the research and to me the BIGGEST obstacle was getting through the Van Allen Belts without being fried to smithereens. Even Nazi Wernher von Braun stated that at LEAST 10 feet of lead needed to be wrapped around the capsule (from radiation) AND that a refueling station was needed to gas up to and from the Moon (similar to the ISS if you will).

That was before Disney got a hold of von Braun and 'Disneyfied' him to look like a friggin' hero. BTW, tell that to the starved-to-death 10,000 slave concentration workers that built his V1 and V2s AND to the 50,000 people KILLED because of them (mainly, Londoners).

I saw the "Lander" mock-up at the Boeing Museum of Flight in Seattle and thought - again - what a crock of shit if ANYONE thinks this POS (tar paper with mylar) withstood extreme temperatures in both sunlight and shade, micrometeorites traveling at 10,000 mph NOT punching the lander or the astronNOTs spacesuits without hiding in a cave somewhere.

Nope, six landings go off without a single incident. The exception being Apollo 13 which was FAKED as to capture the public's attention back to the Apollo space program of which they were losing interest in. They didn't want their "I Love Lucy" programming interrupted. FACT.

Americans are the most gullible idiots on the planet to think NASA pulled this stunt off.

$150 BILLION stunt paid by American taxpayers.

You may ask why the Russians didn't tell the world about America's fake moon landing. They knew it but America were feeding the Russians with shipments of grain as not to starve to death. BTW, the USA and Russia were NEVER enemies in the 'space race'.

How ironic that Russia gave American astroNOTs a ride to the ISS after the Space Shuttle program was eliminated.

OMFG - the stupidity is painful.

I was seven years old and I sort of ignored it. I didn't exactly believe it or not believe it, but I thought it was one of the stupid and meaningless obsessions of people.

Even if it was real, it was meaningless, and I didn't understand why people cared about it.

It wasn't long before I encountered the conspiracy theories and I was inclined to believe them, but I still didn't care about it. It was no less meaningless if it was fake than if it was real.

I had already decided by that age that society was crazy.

"We're number one!" "We went to the moon!" It was stupid things for people to be proud of when the vast majority of them didn't do much of anything, and so many of them were unrighteous in all their ways.
