I saw something similar to this yesterday . it was a one of those sprinter vans. or similar model. it had a a/c unit on top just like this one. I was getting gas at a QT in the HEB area of DFW. 121/183. this white van pulls up to the pump next to me. occupied by a young black couple with a small child in the front.

There was a bulkhead behind the passenger area . I just figured they were living in it, you know tough times. but thinking back now it looked just like this one except a different model van . white . no markings . I just figured it was one of those van life things.

the 'soundproofing' might just be a result of the insulation... which would need to be present to maintain whatever internal temp. they wanted. Now if there were shackle bars or something- THAT would seal the deal for me.

It would be interesting to know where this thing came from- if someone brought it in to sell of their own accord, it is basically proof positive it was not used for nefarious purposes... now if it was a police seizure or similar, who freaking knows.
