Both are nasty. Try "Salad Cream" from UK. Now THATS yummy! You can thank me later. Whats that taste like? Just really good..I can hardly even describe it. Tangy, I'd say.. Dont think you can get it over there. They have it at some super markets in the south. I think there is a Heinz variety. |

She is a ex-girlfriend for a reason I guess as this Southern boy uses Duke's mayo in every recipe from home made pimento cheese to potato salad. I do try an have a open mind as I like Kraft or Hellmann's on a sandwich but if I can only have one, its Duke! Anyone tried that new Heinz Mayo? I prefer Heinz ketchup over all others but never tried the mayo. |

Stick in immersion blender, blend for a few seconds then move blender around to get all the oil. Voilà. Better than store-bought. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 72640401 United States 07/20/2019 11:01 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Thank you! I was afraid it was just me! I was raised on Miracle Whip, and appreciated its tangy, tart goodness on many different food items. I would even eat "Miracle Whip sandwiches" which is exactly what they were! Then about 25 years ago they seem to have changed their recipe. It became greasier and lost its tang, gained a chemical-like aftertaste and just became sort of nasty. So now, if I use anything at all, it'll just be a thin spread of mayo. ---- The Day the Miracle Whip Died MiracleWhip.jpgToday we take a sad look back at the dark day in 2006 when Kraft Foods made the horrible decision to change the recipe for Miracle Whip. In one fell swoop they destroyed a classic American tradition and pushed civilization one step closer to the abyss. We’ve never fully recovered. [link to themoderatevoice.com (secure)] . |

I prefer Heinz ketchup over all others but never tried the mayo. Its good enough. Heinz irresistable? Never made mayo but nicer ones seem to not be fully white. Heinz ketchup is the best until you find someone thats made some. Maybe thicker and less sweet. An italian resturant I think ages ago maybe made some and my sister won a hamper, with sauces. It can definatly be made better. |
