Mayonnaise or Miracle Whip?

Miracle Whip.. sandwich. Really. Try it.

Just really good..I can hardly even describe it. Tangy, I'd say..

Dont think you can get it over there.

They have it at some super markets in the south. I think there is a Heinz variety.

Put 1 cup avocado oil, 1 whole egg, some ground mustard, some vinegar, lemon, or lime juice, and spices (I use smoked paprika, chili,salt, pepper, depends on what it’s for) into a mason jar or glass measuring cup.
Stick in immersion blender, blend for a few seconds then move blender around to get all the oil.
Voilà. Better than store-bought.

Thank you! I was afraid it was just me! I was raised on Miracle Whip, and appreciated its tangy,tart goodness on many different food items. I would even eat "Miracle Whip sandwiches" which is exactly what they were! Then about 25 years ago they seem to have changed their recipe. It became greasier and lost its tang, gained a chemical-like aftertaste and just became sort of nasty. So now, if I use anything at all, it'll just be a thin spread of mayo.

My "northern" ex-girlfriend was a Miracle Whip girl... She is a ex-girlfriend for a reason I guess as this Southern boy uses Duke's mayo in every recipe from home made pimento cheese to potato salad.

I do try an have a open mind as I like Kraft or Hellmann's on a sandwich but if I can only have one, its Duke!

Anyone tried that new Heinz Mayo? I prefer Heinz ketchup over all others but never tried the mayo.

Heinz seriously good mayonaise.

The big jar here ( which I think isnt made anymore ) can be bought for £1.75. The squezzy bottle is about £1.70. Maybe theres deals for £1.50, maybe some times £1. I thought Heinz was American but you pay this much? Thats bad.

Dude, get some eggs and some oil and cut out the middeman. Cut out their death plan for you as well.
