He has attended an evangelical Christian church for years. I suppose his wife has him on the straight and narrow as he was formerly a ladies man. I doubt he's a democrat in fact. Any mainstream democrat is really a republican. Lots of dixiecrats (Southerners) are really republican as are labor democrats in the Rust Belt.

The democrats have turned into the party of kooks so I doubt most democrats are really demcrats anymore.

Honestly, that is pretty much what republicans have to do to avoid a nasty scene, so they smile or casually leave when the crazy dems go about their crazy hate. The dems don't really know they are republicans or what they are thinking.

That's one of the reasons why they were so gob-smacked in 2016. They didn't realize there were as many of us conservatives as there were/are. They just assumed Clinton was going to win because the dems are loud. The republican voters tend to be silent and then strike for the win.
