I remember we clubbed, skinned and barbecued 3 snipes on a warm Alabama evening.

Tasted a lot like chicken.

i knew guys that would cut off a thin part of the top of their sock, drive next to fence lines while deer ran between them and the fence. Jumping on the deer, putting the sock over the head. It was proof to others when they could show it was their sock when the deer was later seen.
