You made me laugh, Grover! But some serious points also: There are many who say that without evil, good could not exist. I would say that evil is not a prerequisite of good, but it certainly gets things rolling in the right direction. Being subjected to evil, being constantly surrounded by examples of it, is enough - if one has a conscience - to goad us into action. This is the situation on our world. The situation has been dire for thousands of years. Millions of people have died all over the world in all sorts of wars and conflicts. When the roots of this are finally known, and when we are finally able to turn everything around, then we will be a FANTASTIC EXAMPLE CAPABLE OF INSPIRING OTHERS. And becoming this example will not have been possible without the previous evil. I A.... men ! or uh maybe it is more politically correct to say A-women ? It is all so confusing of late. Often it seems like all i have to do to offend some soyboi or feminist or...... is open my mouth. Everyone speaks of the evils of judo/christian BS. And many would have me worship a god that would have society publicly toss me off the roof of a tall building or stoned to death or head chopped off. Which is not at all attractive to my way of thinking. To quote "Mary Poppins"... There are also other belief systems that are beyond my realm of comprehension. To be honest ...i kinda like "The Golden Rule" But it is far to X-ian for most people tastes. And.... uh.... well ..er.... I can't seem to forget my favorite Aunt who in her 80's billed her self as the last of the Flapper Girls, constantly saying that ... With out evil ... good could not exist. And With out good... evil could not exist. Sooooo.... maybe there is room and a need for both??? And with out both there would be no motivation for change ???? I had another Aunt that was so sweet and loving and never had a bad word to say about anyone... YAWN !!! But my grand mother was know as the Marget Hamilton of the north side of town. But ... dang.... when she smiled at me ... lack the words to discribe how wonderful and loved i felt. My earlist memories are of 'breaking out' of my play pen and sneaking over to her house (in those days people did not lock their doors) so i would sneak in and hid under her large coffee table (which sits in my living room today) and hide until she found me. And ask if i wanted a glass of grape juice while she drank her hot toddy. Those are good memories from my child hood !!!
