Every now and then the self-proclaimed YouTube UFO experts wet their pants because one of them finds a "giant UFO" (in reality it's less than a millimetre) in an image of the STEREO A Cor2 camera.

And all the followers and watchers of said "expert" videos wet their pants, too, and I bet some of them even get shit stains.

And of course, especially when it's summer and news are sparse, the self proclaimed "Science Reporters" of tabloids like the Daily Excess or the Daily Fail jump on the train and spread this bullshit.


The "Giant UFO" is in the STEREO A Cor2 images since the very first photo sent to Earth, it's a small, just 1 millimetre long fibre on the CCD chip.
