They think he is a "loser". They think he is not good enough. And they hate them because yet at the same time they think these things of him, he is still capable of capturing the attention of others and he is still capable of the demonstration of power and control if he wants to. People want to take the spotlight from him. They hopelessly compete with him. There is no competition, though. There is no show and no scene to play out for an audience. To the Anomaly, it is life as he simply knows it. To others, it is to make an impression. To impress others. To be loved. The Anomaly has no care for these things. He would rather be hated than to be something he is not because that is how real he is.
