I do have to say that you can not think hebrew names in terms of syllables and treat them on its latinified form.

Examples:
Yahweh is 4 syllables, YHVH...and is indeed the sound of all the vowels on a different order, like a wave, EeeeIiiiiOoooUuuuuAaaaaa

Yaeshuah is the SAME 4 letters, plus one letter representing light, knowledge or fire. YHSVH. Hence it is 5 syllables.
