GLP backup plan? HAM radio? Private backup site?

CB radio. They cannot jam it like HAM because truckers use it. Other than that, wifi mesh networks. They can jam those but not really selectively so it would take down internet in homes if they tried. Think mesh network wifi at first, CB radio for later. If they shut that down, just talk on the police bands and be mobile when you do. Should things ever be that bad, there might not be any police reporting.

Make no mistake though, they are coming for speech because the rest is a cake walk once they have that. They have unlimited funds and beyond consumer tech. It would be a miracle if the people wanting to be free survive what is coming.

The first thing the feds will do to VASTLY cut down on internet traffic is cut the DNS lookup. Old dinosaurs remember having to type in numbers followed by a period. Like this #.#.#.#. and that was before names for websites. That might work for awhile when the SHTF.

I've had situations in my work life that Internet circuits were not paid for some of our offices. ICMP goes through, DNS lookups operate fine, but HTTP(S) traffic was blackholed by the provider equipment.

Basically, the only thing you were allowed to do outbound from that circuit was hit the provider website to pay the bill.

Quite deceiving when you're troubleshooting things and your pings come back fine. Then you hop on the phone to call the provider and find out Finance didn't pay the bill.
