I have always found Jehovah Witnesses a little creepy. You would have to be pretty gullible or your life has hit rock bottom in order to want to join a cult that goes to door trying to recruit new members. I always avoid answering the door if I see two people dressed in their Sunday best carrying brief cases full of Jehovah witness tracts.

They are no worse than any other Christian church or cult. They all prey on the weak minded.

Except Jesus literally commanded his followers to do this work. Do other christians do it? Heck no.

I wonder what Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists etc say to Jehovah Witnesses that come calling at their door. I bet Muslim immigrants are not used to our local loonie cult recruiting door to door.

I grew a Jw my mom was one since 1972...

When she had me in in 76...The doctors told her to take blood or she would die...my dad is an Atheist he was soo pissed she said NO...

She is still with us..shes 70..and now she is still working and still a Witness...she is taking care of a 90 year old woman that is a lesbian ...

I'm not sure what your particular experience is with them to make such a wide sweeping statement, but I would say this is definitely not true.

(When was the last time JWs were accused of mass causality shootings, bombings or truck attacks?)

Former JW student here, I also have relatives who are JWs.

They are just committed religious folk, mostly caring and kind, who are told to witness to as many others as they possibly can, as they will show is quoted in the bible.

However, the upper echelon in the JW organization i do wonder about...I know one time they were accused of being secretly associated with the UN, even though they repeatedly told their flock to have no part of any governments of this world...and each Kingdom Hall is also known to keep covert documents on every regular attending member, like what each said or did...rather sketchy stuff, but again that's mostly the higher level JWs.

Never knew of any JWs involved in nefarious behavior, and gosh I hope there is not some dark underground of them involved in pedo activities ( it goes against everything they proclaim ), but if there is I would think it would be a very small percentage of them.
