The wilderness calls.  Noice!....  This week while traveling through the Missile Range I saw an Orc, with two cops chasing it down, one of the cops on the wrong side of the road, an old coyote stepped out in the road in front of me....I dodged him, and then a roadrunner came running out in front of me and he ducked and went under my car!....I looked in my rear view and I saw no feathers, so I think he made it! I've had an interesting week with the wildlife..... And yes, that was an Orc....like, from Africa. I was told they had them shipped over and there's herds of them....they hunt. For sport. The cretin rat bastards. Every once in awhile one of these rather large and fascinating looking beasts breaks free, goes running across the desert, and has to cross HWY 70....and they are in a big ole panic. I had to throw on my brakes (doing 80 mph) two years ago because one ran out in front of me. The poor things. I'm pretty sure I saw the Orc dead on my way back. The two cops were parked off the highway, behind the fence....ugh, and I'm pretty sure I saw four legs up in the air. It's still bothering me. They should leave animals indigenous to Africa, in Africa.....  yes they should and another mark on their very souls bringing suffering to other creatures. that's sad. |
