I get it sometimes when I only have ten bucks for beer. A six pack of Voodoo Ranger is a twelve pack in disguise More like an 18 pack. I can wrestle a 12 pack and still stand. Didja know the other killer beer, Dogfish Head has 60 minute (6%), 90 minute (9%) and a liver killing 120 minute (15-20%)? [link to youtu.be (secure)] Wow. I haven't had Dogfish Head in a while, but maybe now's the time. Cooler weather = stronger beer requirements. Thanks for the heads up! I'm a Sierra Nevada Torpedo man myself most of the time, as far as hoppy ales go. Guinness Extra Stout when I'm in a malty mood. But I'll invest in some Dogfish Head this weekend. Life's too short not to drink a lot of different kinds of beers ~Wharf Rat |

Life's too short not to drink a lot of different kinds of beers I usually drink the light sludge. Coors light, Bud light, ect ect. But every now and then I have a hankering for something different. I really liked the Troegs Trogenator but they can't be found here any more. My gal got me turned on to IPA's. I didn't like them at first but I did develop a fondness for them. The Goose Island IPA is a nice calm beer. |

The thing about them is that after they got bought out (Anheuser-Busch) the taste changed. I know they always claim to keep the recipe the same and use the same ingredients, but... Not so much. It's still really good, but I remember the old days when it was an independent. That stuff was like honey nectar. I never heard of Troegs/Trogenator -- a lot of beer is regional. I'm in the deep south, Arkansas, so we don't get a lot of New England or Pacific Northwest micros down here. Some, but not a lot. My absolute favorite beer in the world is Magic Hat #9, from Vermont. Holy fuckin shit that stuff is good. But I haven't had any in years... ~Wharf Rat |

I lived in VT for years, literally within walking distance from a few pubs in Brattleboro that had nothing but micro brews and I never went. Hadn't acquired a taste for them then. I'll have to give MagicHat a try. Seems I remember seeing it on the shelf here somewhere. Probably Food Lion. They usually have a decent stock of beer selections. |

That in itself is exhausting. Curtains can be heavy and dusty, I prefer removing blinds. I did not see anything. I gave permission for one thing to come in so I could tell you about it? I did not have any sights I recall. :( I will share the next time they come in, however? Last Edited by rewind on 11/07/2020 05:19 AM |

If they pull this off, the age of Despotism will have OFFICIALLY begun. Great song! The age of Despotism? Ha! Never. S&G are great too. Yes, despotism. I say that because, as with the Roman Empire, once despots begin ruling as emperors, a nation's decline is inevitable. Any historian can lay it out for you. If they get away with this fraud, all that is left is the crying, for what America once was and could have been. God help us! Seekinginformation |

Nothing we can do unless at least know! Roman Emire reminds me of the Settlers game I am playing... I admire the Greek Socrates. He was SO brave to utter all what he thought freely. And then the 'judges' sentensed him to death. God won't help. Be careful when you fight the monsters, lest you become one. (Friedrich Nietzsche) |
