One of the favorite parts about my life is the dreams I have every night. I remember them too, days weeks and months later. I don't keep a dream journal, but I do tend to write the interesting things down in my "writing journal" when I start the day, before diving into my novel-writing. Most of the time, like 95% of the time or more, I have dreams about my family members and friends. Once or twice a month I meet a famous person -- usually dead ones -- like Jim Morrison, Robin Williams, Jimi Hendrix, et al. Those are awesome. Jerry Garcia... I love my "dead celeb" dreams, because they are *always* nice to me and answer questions I ask them, and sometimes go on adventures with me. Robin Williams is always down for an adventure. And no, I'm not even joking. My favorite dreams are seeing my Dad again. It's funny, because most of my Dad dreams are "semi tense", where I've done something wrong or am being a (teenage) brat, but when I wake up it's SO FUCKIN NICE to have "seen" him again. It's as close as I will ever get to actually seeing him in real life. But, as far as I'm concerned, my dreams really are real-life, because I'm alive and I get to hug him again and talk with him and I can see his face and feel his hugs and hear his voice. I put on a lovely fanmade Skyrim Video turned the lights out, took a couple of hits and just melted into the video. Thought about the two protagonists and how they would react to seeing each other in public and then my brain took over and it just started to flow. It's sooo romantic. I am sorry I won't divulge any of my writing on this novel. But I use music to transport me then I daydream. lol Making sammiches great again! |

The kittehs are outside and I've a load of laundry going. I'll empty the dishwasher of what's in it and refill it with dirty dishes and start it again too when I next get up. 'Woke up at 4:30 today. I haven't done that since I stopped going into my office to work every day. Now it's more like I awaken at 6:20 to begin work at 6:30.
