I see an over abundance of males in your Silkie flock. Remember when they boys come of age. Every single one of them will want to mate the girls. 30 times a day. The good ratio is at least 5-6 hens per one rooster. You need to start thinking about finding homes for all the males. You cannot keep them with your small number of hens. A grown Rooster is not so bad. 15 or more horny cockerels and your hens will know true hell. Get used to the screaming sounds because you’re going to hear it all day long. They will rape them to death. Or at least until they become depressed. All their feathers torn off their backs and not a minute of peace to be able to eat, fluff or socialize. You only need one Rooster.

Two at the most.

Today’s a beautiful and sunny day! Yesterday was 91 degrees here ... I got most of my summer clothes out, specially swimsuits.

Also today arrives my Earthquake tiller... I’m so excited... have been waiting for it for almost six weeks... I think I’m gonna be unstoppable with that bad boy in my hands.

Hello my dear Pool!

We have 60 chicks in total and I’m planning on adding 13 more... I will ask the lady who breeds silkies for advice... hopefully only a couple are boys and they will be the only roosters cuz all the other ones are girls...

Just started chapter 2, it took a while to create the world. Lol. Guildmaster Pool is still standing lean and lovely in her Guildhall waiting for her part in the story to begin. Lol I have over 60 characters though not all are major. It’s going to take a long time to tell this story.
