And why wouldn’t it? If the acquisition of serious damning evidence from his homes and his safe in the NYC home implicates important people, and the evidence is in the hands of competent investigators and prosecutors, why wouldn’t they follow the path to criminal charges against people who quite simply raped young girls?

The big question is, who are the competent people in law enforcement and the justice department who will forge ahead with an investigation, and what power over them do others have to try and stop it?
